IP Management

Your rights to the output – on record.

Copyright only protects human creative work – and the burden of proof is on you. That is why documentation decides: on:mint records your creative contribution in a traceable way and proves the AI in the loop: the creative work was yours – the AI only assisted.

    • C2PA & CAWG: proof of provenance and identity
    • API & MCP: fits into any existing workflow
    • Blockchain anchor: keeps an audit-proof record of every state

How the work history is created.

You work as usual, in your own apps and with AI. After each step, on:mint secures the interim version. In the end, the whole creation process is there to check.

A work takes many steps. on:mint records each one. In the background.

    31 seconds, with sound.

When AI is involved, proof of your authorship is what counts.

IP Management captures every step in real time: automatic logging condenses your interim versions into an audit-proof work history. The result: your creative contribution stays transparent, and you can prove with legal certainty that even individual modules are eligible for protection.

4 steps · anchored on the blockchain

Example of a work history in on:mint: four secured steps of one work, a sketch in a drawing app, clean lines in an image editor, variations with an AI tool via MCP, the final version. Each step with time and check mark, below: four steps, anchored on the blockchain.

If you claim protection, you have to prove it.

Under German copyright law, only what rests on a person's own intellectual creation is protected. An AI cannot be an author. In a dispute, you have to show which decisions came from you and how the work came together as a whole. That only works with records that make your contribution traceable.

    • Only described what you want

You tell the AI what you need and use what it gives you. Then nothing is protected: an idea on its own is not enough.

    • Reworked the result yourself

You rework what the AI produced and make your own creative decisions along the way. Then your part is protected, not the whole work.

    • Designed the blueprint yourself

You decide how the whole thing is built, in software for example the architecture, modules and data structures. The AI only fills it in. Then the work as a whole can be protected, even if its individual parts are not.

From first draft to final version

    1. 01

      Secure the starting point

Your first draft gets a record of who created it and when. Your identity is firmly linked to the work using the CAWG standard. If the draft already has Content Credentials, IP Management builds on them.

    2. 02

      Keep working as usual

You keep working in your usual apps, AI included. You don't have to change a thing.

    3. 03

      Every step is logged

After each step, on:mint automatically secures the interim version, with the tool, the time and whether AI was involved.

    4. 04

      Show the work history

When you need proof, you present the complete work history and show which contribution is yours. Each version can be checked through its fingerprint on the blockchain.

    Runs in the background.

IP Management works best when you don't have to think about it. Your tools report each version to on:mint themselves. We set up the connection with you.

Diagram: a drawing app, an image editor, an AI tool and an agent report their interim versions to on:mint via API or MCP. There they become the work history.
    MCP server
AI assistants and agents secure interim versions through the on:mint MCP server, right inside the workflow.
    REST API
Your system hands over each version via the API. When the record is ready, on:mint reports to your callback URL.
    Upload in the app
You can also upload single versions yourself when needed.

The same technology as Content Credentials

Each step gets a complete record made of four parts. IP Management links these records for one work.

    View Content Credentials
    C2PA manifest
Proof of provenance and content: what happened to the file and whether AI was involved. Any later change shows.
    CAWG identity
Identity attribution: which person or company is behind the work, verifiable in the manifest.
    Invisible watermark
A signal in the pixels leads to the record, even when metadata is missing.
    Blockchain entry
The fingerprint is recorded on Polygon and cannot be changed. The files stay in the EU.

    What is an artifact?
A module of your work that can be assessed for copyright on its own, such as a software component or a sketch. Artifacts sit in an ordered folder structure and are stored content-based: every file is uniquely findable by its content, and even the smallest change is provable.
    More storage
    Another 50 GB for €10 a month.
    Billing
All prices net, plus VAT. Minimum term 6 months, then cancellable with 3 months' notice to the end of each term.
    1Qualified timestamp:
A timestamp from a qualified trust service under eIDAS (RFC 3161). It proves that an artifact existed in exactly this form at that time.
    2CAWG identity:
Open standard for identity attribution: the record states, verifiably, which person or company is behind the work.
    3Blockchain:
A digital land register where a file's fingerprint is stored tamper-resistant, so fakes can be proven.
    4REST API:
An interface your tools use to report each interim version to on:mint automatically.
    5MCP server:
A connection for AI assistants and agents that report interim versions right inside the workflow.
