    What Verify checks

    01

    Content Credentials (C2PA)

Verify reads signed provenance data in the open C2PA standard: who created an asset, with which tool, and what was changed.

    02

    on:mint provenance records

If an asset is secured with on:mint, Verify shows the record along with its immutable anchor.

    03

    Fingerprint matching

Even without metadata: the perceptual fingerprint matches an image against the on:mint registry and can recover secured originals.

    04

    AI labeling under Art. 50

Verify shows whether an asset carries the machine-readable AI label the EU AI Act requires.

And if nothing is on record? Then that's exactly what Verify tells you. Verify detects markings and records instead of guessing: what can't be proven isn't claimed.

on:mint has signed the EU Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-generated Content. Verify is the freely accessible detection solution the Code calls for.

    Checking doesn't mean sharing.

    01

    Hash first

Every check starts with a hash comparison. The image itself is never transferred for this step.

    02

    Upload only if needed

Only when the hash finds no match is the image uploaded, and it is processed in memory only.

    03

    Processed in the EU

The entire verification infrastructure runs in the EU.

    From checking to proving.

Verify reads records. Creating them happens on the on:mint platform: Content Credentials protect your originals, AI Labeling implements the Art. 50 obligation.
